Notes: *claps hands* This is my first major fic cause it has more than one part to it *blush*. I really hope everyone likes it. Anyways, I have been inspired to do this fic by reading another one by Jade. Her's is called, "Easy Rider," and it's great, just like all of the rest. She's one of my favs *sigh* I LOVE YA JADE! I also don't own the Sailor Moon song that I used for this chapter. All I own is...not much cause I'm a poor college student. Chapter Ten: Realization Leads to Forgiveness
Breaking up is hard to do, especially when your heart is truly broken. Some break ups mean nothing to the soul. Sometimes breaking up lets you see that you really didn't care. Maybe it was good for a while, but it was time to separate. However, some break ups can tear people apart. When true love is involved, when you give your all to make the person happy only to break up, it can crush not only your heart....but you.
Both Duo and Heero were acting tough in front of each other. However, their words broke them in half. As soon as the plane took off Heero wanted to dash off and get his violet eyed love, but he didn't. His soul had faded as the plane hit the clouds. His managers watched as the cobalt eyes lost the shine they held. The boy tried to keep his tears in check but to no avail. Treize and Wufei held the crying form of Heero Yuy.
Quatre and Trowa had to hold their friend as he coughed violently from the tears he spilt. He had said every curse word in the English language before he shrunk into tears. He was so depressed that he went as far as throwing up. Whatever he ate hit the carpet that morning, along with his heart. Quatre and Trowa gave him water and eased his pain the best they could.
On the plane, while Heero was in an uneasy sleep, Wufei successfully logged into Heero's computer. He sat in Treize's lap as he read the e-mail fron Relena over and over again.
"This doesn't seem right. I mean, so what if he didn't know the concert date. Not many people knew that." Said Wufei.
"I think the only reason she knows is that she's the president of his fan club." Said Treize.
"And look at this, she said he's had many lovers. I think that's a lie." Said Wufei. Treize nodded.
"You could see it in his eyes. He seemed nervous about being alone with Heero."
"I haven't known him for that long but I think he's a good kid. He wouldn't do that to Heero." Said Treize. The two looked at their friend as he mumbled in his sleep, calling his lost love.
"I think we should do something about this." Said Wufei. Treize smiled.
"Doesn't Duo have two friends Dragon?" Asked Treize.
"You're a genius, that's one of the reasons I love you." Said Wufei.
"Really, anymore reasons?" Asked Treize. Wufei smirked.
"No...I think that's it." Treize playfully growled at him and put the computer down.
"I guess I have to remind you then." And he carried his dragon to that back to do just that.
The next day, Quatre got an interesting call...at about 6 in the morning. The sleepy blond yawned and grabbed the phone.
"Hello?" He asked sleepily.
"Hello, is this Quatre?" Asked a voice that he knew he had from from somewhere, but couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Yes....who is this?"
"My name is Chang Wufei, Heero's assistant manager. We met at the concert. I'm sorry to wake you, but I forgot about the time differences." Said Wufei.
"Oh....it's O.K. Hey, how'd you get this number?" Asked Quatre.
"Computer. It pays to have Heero as a best friend." Said Wufei. Quatre laughed a bit.
"I take it that this call is about those two right?" Asked Quatre.
"Yes, it seems that Relena sent Heero this e-mail about Duo and..."
"WHAT! She did? She had said something to Duo about Heero leaving and showed him his concert dates."
"Really? Well, it looks like she's been busy. Listen, I'm sorry that Heero said those things, but after what Relena told him about Duo not caring about his lovers...."
"Lovers? Duo was a virgin until Heero."
"Wait, what did Relena say to Duo?" Asked Wufei.
"Well, she said he was leaving and didn't want to tell him. She made it seem like he didn't care for Duo, that he was just gonna leave without a single word." Said Quatre.
"Listen, we didn't find out about the concert until late that night when Duo had came over. We told him the next day, the day of the arguement." Said Wufei. Quatre sighed.
"So Relena started the fight basically. Great, now you guys are across the country."
"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Right now, we should tell the boys about this." Said Wufei.
"I agree. I'll tell him today."
"Same here." The conversation then ended.
"Say WHAT!" Screamed Heero.
"That's right Heero." Said Wufei. Heero sighed.
"I can't believe this..."
"...SHIT!" Said Duo with a frown.
"Well believe it. Relena used you guys." Said Trowa.
"That sneaky...." Started Duo.
"...low down..." Continued Heero.
"....son of a..."
"...BITCH!" Finished Heero.
"She played you guys. It was perfect." Said Treize.
"She had so much proof on it, I mean, she made it seem like..."
"...he didn't care. And I was dumb enough to...." Started Duo.
"...believe her." Said Heero
"Do you want to call and apologize?" Asked Treize. Heero smiled.
"No....I have a better idea."
Duo, Trowa, and Quatre sat and watched T.V. A few nights had passed and Heero had yet to call. Quatre was getting worried, maybe Wufei didn't tell him or maybe he really didn't care. Duo was getting worse and worse as each day passed. He rarely slept or ate anything anymore. His cheerfulness had left his body. All that remained was an empty shell.
"He probably hates me for saying those things." Said Duo. He hoped that Heero would called since he didn't have the number. But, it looked like he wouldn't.
"Oh Duo, I don't think so. It was a fight, you two didn't think about what was said at the time. I'm sure he's sorry just like you are." Said Trowa. They flipped through the channels until they landed on the channel where a concert would be showing. They realized it was Heero's L.A. concert.
"We don't have to watch it."
"No, no I want to see him." Said Duo with a sigh.
On the other side of the neighborhood, Relena sat and watched the concert and had a dreamy smile on her face.
"I can't wait to see him again, especially since he dumped that trash." Just then, Heero stepped out onto the stage. He wore black leather pants with a white T-shirt. His face was long and sad. However, the crowd still cheered for him.
"Hello everyone." He said. They cheered.
"Before I start, I would like to say something to someone. I hope he's watching." Everyone grew silent.
"I've never been in love before, until you came. We had so much fun together, and shared many laughs. I loved you, and I still do. However, we have been separated by not only someone else, but our own stubborness. I'm sorry for the things I said, I didn't mean it. I love you....Duo Maxwell."
Duo's heart stopped at that. Quatre and Trowa smiled.
"Well, I guess that's better than a phone call."
Relena glared at the screen.
"How could you Heero. How could you."
The crowd went wild with this knowledge as a slow, country type beat played. All listened, they had never heard this type of thing from Heero.
"I wrote this song and I dedicate it to you Duo. I love you. It's called, "My Only Love." The Japanese boy cleared his throat to sing.

The audience swayed to the music along with Heero. Backstage, Wufei and Treize watched.
"Think this will get his point across?" Asked Treize sarcastically.
"That's Heero for ya, always gotta make things so elegant." Said Wufei.
Now we both know

Duo smiled as he heard the song.
"Oh Heero." He said as him and his friends swayed along too.

Heero watched the crowd and fought tears. There were no cheers but silence as the boy made his declaration of love. He smiled, he really hoped Duo was watching this. He needed him to know how he felt.

"I love you too Heero." Said Duo. Quatre smiled.
"Well, it seems like you two have made up." It was Duo's turn to smile.
"I must see him...now." .
"But...he's in L.A." Said Trowa. Duo gave them a chilling smile and the two boys gasped.
"No way Duo, you aren't thinking about..." But Duo said nothing.
He just smiled.
