Part 2

Suddenly, there he was, standing in front of him, blocking his way out the door. Heero's desperation focused, concentrating on the boy in front of him. Somehow, this boy was the key to it; the key to his salvation. He just had to figure out how. The boy stepped closer to him; Heero felt like a cornered animal, his mind racing a mile a minute. What to do? He wouldn't go back, wouldn't be taken... and he needed this boy. If he was sent away, he could never have him, never bury his hands in that silken hair, never touch that velvet skin, never feel that body underneath him, sweaty in the night... It all galvanized for him in an instant; the way was clear suddenly. He knew what he had to do, and how to do it. Reaching for the knife he always kept in his boot, he grabbed the longhaired boy as gently as possible, spinning him around so the knife was to his throat, and he whispered, "You're coming with me."

Duo gasped as he felt Heero's arms around him, and felt the knife at his throat. He felt the warm body behind him, and wondered why he didn't feel more frightened. Adrenaline surged through his veins; somehow he trusted the other boy. He wasn't hurting him. He heard him whisper, "I won't hurt you, just do as I say."

He started to nod, but thought better of it. Then he was being dragged out of the office, and he went along automatically. All he could think of was the heat of the boy holding him, and how good he smelled. He almost giggled when he realized he was getting hard. There really was something wrong with him.

Heero was thinking as fast as he could. Right about this time, there usually was some type of delivery going on. He had often seen various delivery vans outside the office; all deliveries had to be cleared through the office first. So far, so good. He had to keep reminding himself to stay focused; the feeling of the longhaired boy against him was threatening to distract him. He couldn't afford that. He also didn't want to hurt the other boy. Strangely enough, he wasn't even struggling. Heero walked behind him, steering him through the hallway. He kept brushing against the other boy, and the firm ass pressed against his own groin was almost too much for him. Focus...

They burst out of the front door; Heero quickly scanned the area. No sign of trouble yet. He looked around, and hit paydirt; a FedEx delivery van stood idling outside, its driver standing at the back, inventorying packages. Perfect. Heero crept around the driver's side, unseen, guiding his hostage in front of him. He pushed the other boy in the driver's side, and followed quickly. He glanced around, spotting another data pad, and tossed it out the side in case it was enabled with GPS tracking. Taking a minute to familiarize himself with the controls, he noted the FedEx man had just gone in the building, unaware. Glancing over at his passenger, he growled, "Stay down," and drove away as quickly as possible.

Duo hunched down between the seats, holding onto the passenger seat but doing as he was told. He found he already missed the feeling of the other boy against him. He briefly wondered what was wrong with him; he was being kidnapped, he shouldn't be enjoying this so much! He certainly shouldn't be lusting after his gorgeous captor, staring at his profile as he drove, melting at the steely determination on his handsome face... but he had to admit, this was the most fun he'd had in a long time. He trusted the other boy when he said he wouldn't hurt him. Even the knife at his throat had been almost gentle. He knew he shouldn't react this way, like the whole thing was a movie; but he couldn't help it.

Heero maneuvered the van out of the school's driveway carefully; he knew that most people driving stolen cars attracted attention to themselves by driving erratically. He also knew he had about 10 more minutes to ditch this van and get another car, before the theft was reported. He knew there was a shopping mall with a covered parking garage nearby; perfect. He could leave the FedEx van there, and pick up another car, all under cover. He knew also that the other boy was from the other school; it would take a while to for his school to figure out that he was missing. Heero took a brief moment to wonder what it was the longhaired boy was doing at his school, then dismissed it as immaterial. He pulled into the parking garage, parked and looked down at the other boy. He expected him to look frightened, but he didn't. "We're going to get a different car," he explained. "Will you come along willingly or do I have to use the knife again?"

Duo looked up at him. He didn't want to say that he would willingly do anything the other boy asked, without coercion. Anything. Instead, he just said, "I'll come along. You don't need the knife."

Heero stared back for a long moment, then nodded. "Come on, then," he said, and grabbed his arm. Duo let himself be dragged along, and when some people looked at them, Duo moved closer to Heero, clutching his arm, and smiled sweetly at them. They looked away in disgust, and Duo grinned. He didn't want this to end; he wanted to run away with the handsome boy.

Out of the corner of his eye, Heero realized what the other boy was doing, but he was busy picking a car to steal. He knew he needed a nondescript car, one that wouldn't attract too much attention. He spotted an older Toyota Camry in an employee parking space; perfect. No car alarm, and he was inside in seconds. He slid behind the wheel, after pushing the other boy across to the passenger side.

Duo watched in awe as Heero effortlessly broke into the car. Soon, it was running smoothly and they were pulling out of the parking garage. Heero drove carefully, and his mind was working quickly as he drove. He needed to get out of town. He had a vague plan of holding the longhaired boy for ransom, and then escaping to South America. He hadn't thought this part out fully; he hadn't expected to get caught so soon. But it made sense; if the other boy attended the prep school, his parents must be rich. He could do this. He drove for about 5 more miles, then spotted a Wal-mart. A perfect place to ditch this car, and a bus stop for their next mode of transportation. He knew stolen cars would eventually be discovered, and he didn't want to leave a trail; but public transportation was virtually untraceable. There were routes heading everywhere. Two teenage boys would attract very little attention, and there was no reason to think he was being traced just yet. He parked the car, and looked over at the other boy. "Are you ok?" he found himself asking.

Duo nodded, still caught up in the excitement. "I'll go along. Don't worry about me."

Heero frowned, and explained they needed to get on a bus. Duo nodded, quickly grasping the situation. He knew all those action movies would come in handy some day. "You're going to hold me for ransom, aren't you?" He paused, but didn't wait for Heero's confirmation. "Good idea! Wait a minute... they'll eventually trace us here because of the car anyway, so it wouldn't hurt to use that ATM to get some money out of my account, would it?"

Heero had to admit the boy had a point. "But..." he tried to interject.

Duo went on. "It's ok, I'll do it. They'll never miss the money. And you don't need the knife. Unless you really want to," he added, suggestively, grinning at Heero. Somehow he knew the other boy didn't really want to hurt him.

Heero stared back in confusion. "Why?" he managed, before Duo interrupted again.

"Don't ask. I didn't like it at that school. I needed some excitement. Come on, we're wasting time, let's go!" Duo urged, and waited for Heero to open the door.

Shaking his head, Heero led Duo over to the ATM, and watched as he withdrew a ridiculous amount of money. "Sorry, but they only allow $1000 a day to be withdrawn," he explained apologetically, as he held out the money to Heero.

Heero looked down at more money than he had seen at once in his whole life. He quickly stuffed it in his pocket, then grabbed Duo's arm and led him to the bus stop. He fumbled in his pocket for the correct change for both of them, and they boarded the next bus.

They crisscrossed the city for a while, randomly taking buses, until Heero thought of something else. They needed less conspicuous clothes. They got off the bus, and Duo realized they were fairly close to the Mexican border. Heero took Duo's arm and guided him off the bus. Duo's heart beat faster at the heat of the other boy so close to him. Through their entire journey, Duo had been sneaking peeks at the cobalt-eyed boy. He had never seen anyone as handsome or sexy as his kidnapper. His messy brown hair fell over intense blue eyes, and the delicate features contrasted perfectly with the athletic body. A body that Duo wanted to see more of... he tried not to blush as he realized he was staring at the other boy's ass. He blushed more as he realized he was getting aroused.

Heero guided them into a small clothing store. Glancing at the longhaired boy to estimate his clothes size, Heero found himself instead admiring the slim hips, the tight ass, the curve of the boy's creamy throat... he shook his head, trying to clear away the distracting images. He couldn't afford to be distracted... no matter how beautiful the boy was, how much he wanted to touch that body all over, bury his hands in that hair... Heero realized he was getting hard again, just thinking about the other boy. He quickly grabbed several sets of clothes without looking too closely, paid the cashier and pulled them out the door. He kept trying to make his arousal go away, so he could concentrate again. They went in a public bathroom and changed clothes.

Then it was back on a bus for some more traveling. It was getting dark when Heero decided they had gone far enough. He looked around and quickly located a motel with a fast food restaurant nearby. Perfect. "Are you hungry?"

The question startled Duo out of his contemplation of the other boy's perfect profile. "Uh, yes, as a matter of fact I am," he answered.

Heero looked at him. "Is that one ok?" He indicated the restaurant. Duo nodded, and they made their way over.

For the next hour, Heero watched in amazement as Duo consumed more food than he thought that slim form could hold. Finally, the longhaired boy sat back happily. "Thanks, um..." he trailed off as he realized he didn't know the gorgeous boy's name. "What's your name?"

Heero looked over at the longhaired boy. He supposed there was no reason not to tell him. "Heero." He paused, then added without thinking, "What's yours?" As the words came out, he cursed himself. He could not afford to become attached to this boy...

"That's a cool name! I'm Duo," enthused the other boy, wiping off his hand before offering it to Heero to shake.

Heero looked confused for a moment, then shook the proffered hand gingerly. He looked up, and was caught in depthless violet eyes. Duo ~ he could use the name, now ~ stared back, and with a start he realized he was still holding the other boy's hand. Duo didn't seem to mind, though; and Heero found he didn't want to let go. He didn't know how long they sat like that, hands clasped and eyes locked; time seemed to stand still.

Duo was entranced; now the mysterious boy had a name, and he was lost in the most wonderful eyes; he could happily drown in those eyes. His hand was warm and strong, and Duo didn't want to let go. Then a group of people came in, banging the door against the wall and breaking the moment. They both jerked their hands back, feeling a bit silly but still happy. Duo found he wasn't hungry anymore.

"Duo?" Heero said hesitantly.

"Yes, Heero?" Duo said, loving the sound of his name from that sexy mouth.

"I... I want to apologize for kidnapping you," he said, wincing at the ludicrousness of that statement.

Duo looked back at him in shock. "Uh, that's ok! I'm having a great time, actually. You've been very nice."

They stared at each other for a long moment, and Duo continued hesitantly, "Um... can I ask why? Why you kidnapped me I mean? Why..." He instantly regretted asking, as Heero seemed to close up, the small smile disappearing.

"I don't want to discuss it," he said shortly, embarrassed at having gotten so distracted by Duo's beauty. This was business.

"Oh, ok, I'm sorry," Duo replied, looking down.

Heero cursed himself for causing the other boy to look sad. "Let's go," he said shortly, to cover the fact that he had an incredible urge to spill his guts to Duo, to tell the sweet boy everything. Besides, he wanted to get out of sight soon; Duo might have been reported missing by now. He took the longhaired boy's hand again, trying not to notice how smooth his skin was, and smell his hair...
